Upload & Embed Media

Once your students have made their recordings in Audacity, the next step is to get them on the wiki. First we need to upload the file to the wiki, then we need to embed it on a page.

Upload Your Audio File:

1. Go to Manage Wiki, then under the Content heading, click Files.
2. Click Upload Files
3. Find the file you want to upload on your computer, highlight it, and click Open

Your file will upload and, after a few seconds, should appear in the File List.

Embed Your Audio File in a Wiki Page:

1. Navigate back to the page where you want to embed the file.
2. Click Edit and place the cursor where you want the audio player to appear.
3. From the toolbar editor, click File, then select your desired file from the list. A little blue-green rectangle will appear where the mp3 player will be. If you want to move it higher or lower on the page, you can simply drag it with the mouse.
4. Click Save, and you're done!
